Luong Van Can Fund kicked off the mentorship program, academic year 2021-2022

The “Mentorship program” is an annual program of Luong Van Can Fund that assists students to enhance their capacities in various aspects. To offer students an overview of the program in the academic year 2021-2022, Luong Van Can Fund hosted the mentor kick-off meeting on Sunday, 7/11/2021. This year, the program received over 140 applications from the students and over 50 mentors from      various industries.

At the start, Mr Nguyen Trieu Trung, a member of Luong Van Can Fund BoM, offered a glimpse into highlights of the program, including its goals, directions and matching process. Ms Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao, director of Luong Van Can Fund, then contributed to the meeting with her suggestions on how to make the most out of the program. Proactiveness and appreciation are keywords that students should embrace when participating in the mentorship program. Also, setting appropriate goals, respecting mentors and maintaining good routines and disciplines are crucial to overcome challenges. Moreover, it is emphasized that the students should      express their ideas instead of just relying on mentors’ instructions

During the Q&A session, questions regarding the protocol and agenda of the Mentorship program have been addressed by the BoM. Students attending last year’s mentoring experience also shared their experience.           .

Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter.

Luong Van Can Fund hopes that the mentorship program will be a catalyst for students to broaden their horizons by learning from their mentors.
