INTRODUCTION OF THE EDUCATION COMPANION OF  LUONG VAN CAN FUND:MAI:TRI – PRACTICAL SPACE FOR ART THERAPY PRACTICE  AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Receiving the support of educational centers and societies during the journey accompanying Vietnamese students is the happiness and pride of Luong Van Can Fund. The school year 2022-2023 is the first year we have received support from MAI:tri – a place to practice art therapy and engage in community activities to nurture your mind.

MAI:tri is founded by Ms. Nguyen Huong Linh. Linh, a Fulbright alumnus in 2017, obtained her Master degree in Art Therapy (MPS Art Therapy) from School of Visual Arts in 2020.

In the 2022 – 2023 academic year, MAI:tri collaborated with Luong Van Can Fund to organize the SELF-OLOGY workshop to help Luong Van Can Fund students and the community gain a better understanding of their body, spirit, and mind and to provide practical skills in using mindfulness, relaxation, and visual creativity to take care of self, regulate emotions, and relieve stress. The workshop opened to students at Luong Van Can Fund and the community for 5 consecutive weeks.

Luong Van Can Fund deeply appreciates MAI:tri’s partnership on our journey of helping Vietnamese students. We hope that MAI:tri‘s “𝕊𝔼𝕃𝔽-𝕆𝕃𝕆𝔾𝕐 – 𝔹𝕀Ế𝕋 (𝕧ề) 𝕄Ìℕℍ” workshop will reach out more to the community and to those in need of learning more insight about themselves. Hopefully, we will receive more support from prestigious educational institutions and be able to accompany MAI:tri in many other activities for Vietnamese students.
