LUONG VAN CAN STUDENTS VISITED UNILEVER COMPANY

On Wednesday, 13/03/2019, Luong Van Can Fund organised a tour for its scholarship recipients to visit the Office of Unilever Company (situated in District 7, HCMC), which was one of the world renown transnational company for consumer goods. The tour was co – participated by VietHope scholars.

During the tour, the students was introduced to the company’s historical stages and sustainable development framework by Ms Truong Do Minh Huong, a representative of Unilever. Beside giving a chief focus on business development, the company did promote various welfare programs including renovating lavatories in remote areas and assisting approximately 10 million students in accessing education. According to Ms Huong, Unilever also offered myriad job opportunities, of which Ulead, Future Leader were illustrations. Also in the session, she shared with the students information regarding the company recruitments and its expectation on the future staff.

The students then were given a chance to visit and observe throughout the office with various interesting experiences in the product-piloting room, Knorr kitchen, audio-visual room and the product-exhibiting counters. Not only owning a professional working office, the company did invest in setting restrooms and gym club with a view to catering for the staff.

The tour completely brought up exotic experiences for students of the Funds.
