On the afternoon of Sunday 31/10/2021, Luong Van Can Fund organized the training program “Efficient study strategy for University students”, hosted by speaker Bui Thi Nhu Ngoc, PhD candidate of the Science and Technology Education program, Mahidol University, Thailand, and two teaching assistants, Ms Le Kha Han and Ms Vo Ho My Phuc.

To kick off the program, speaker Nhu Ngoc and Luong Van Can Fund’s students shared their expectations of what would constitute efficient study strategy for university students. These ideas paved the way for the introduction of essential skills for designing an appropriate study strategy

The program addressed many issues commonly faced by students.

Speaker Bui Thi Nhu Ngoc suggested three underlying skills, including Communication, Listening and Time Management. “There would be no common study strategy for all students” – said Ms Nhu Ngoc. Students should develop their own strategy by proactively practising the essential skills above.

At the end of the program, the speaker and her assistants responded to queries from students and shared experience on handling obstacles that people face when applying those skills, as well. Luong Van Can Fund hopes that the students have attained their practical lessons and learned appropriate methods to design an efficient study strategy.
