Luong Van Can Fund organized the Mentorship Wrap-up

On 21/04/2018, Luong Van Can Fund organized a Wrap-up for its Mentorship program after one year of operation at Norfolk Hotel. The program was first kicked off in May 2017 with a view to associating Luong Van Can students (mentees) with mentors, who have remarkable achievements in certain fields. It gives the scholarship recipients an opportunity to be supported spiritually as well as improve their professional and social skills.

Throughout the wrap-up, mentors and mentees took turns sharing about their interesting experiences with Mentorship’s activities. “Community Projects” seemed to be the most notable one. It required both mentors and mentees to join hands to help the unfortunate and spread “Pay it forward” spirit. Besides, participants also had the chance to speak up about limitations of Mentorship program then recommend the solutions in the “Group discussion” activity.

Mentorship Wrap-up appeared to mark the end of a memorable year for the students and their mentors. Each student’s maturity greatly contributes to the program’s success. Acknowledging constructive feedbacks from the participants, Mentorship will gradually improve to fulfil Luong Van Can Fund’s long-term mission “Invest in human for sustainable development”.
