Luong Van Can Fund organized Community Projects Wrap up

On 03/02/2018, Luong Van Can Fund organized the following Meetup – a regular activity of its Mentorship program at John von Neumann Institute, National University HCMC.

The program aimed at summarizing Community Projects that were actively accomplished by Luong Van Can’s students from October 2017 to January 2018. With “Pay It Forward” spirit and the desire to contribute to society, they operated well their own projects and delivered meaningful messages. Although this was the first time this kind of activity had been carried out, it achieved positive results. The activity included 16 projects which benefited about 1000 people in Ho Chi Minh City and some Western provinces.

During the event, the representative of Luong Van Can Fund made comments and gave presents to the project groups. Connecting the hospitals offering free medical operations to patients in need, Instructing children to make models for the purpose of encouraging their passion for Science, Teaching orphans how to grow clean vegetables and Inspiring the youth to read books were some notable projects to be named.

Apart from studying, participating in social projects assists Luong Van Can’s students with the spirit of contribution to society as well as gives them chances to apply skills and knowledge to reality.
