Luong Van Can Fund organised the HR Talk Program, academic year 2021-2022

On the afternoon of Sunday, December 19, 2021, Luong Van Can Fund held the “HR Talk” program to provide an opportunity for students to learn about the hands-on experience from employees working in large companies and corporations. The program was held entirely in English with the participation of the speaker, Ms. Jenny Yeonardy,  Human Resources Director of Asia Pacific Fabric & Home Care Product Supply at Procter & Gamble Singapore.

Within 2 hours, Ms. Jenny shared and discussed with participants many different aspects of the HR field, ranging from what  they should prepare for an  HR career at foreign companies and the growth directions that will help them effectively respond to challenges, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thanks to the program, Mrs. Jenny helped the participants to partly solve the following problems:

  • The recruitment of HR positions of multinational companies, and the essential skills and qualitiesrequired
  • How to identify their passion and how to step out of personal comfort zones.
  • Practical advice in career preparation, in terms of skills, knowledge, mindset andattitude towards the chosen profession.

Ms. Jenny’s sharing session not only offered a lot of useful and interesting knowledge about HR but also helped students understand more about the recruitment process and operations of multinational companies, and how to handle obstacles and building an appropriate roadmap for growth. Hopefully, the speaker and the program itself answered all participants’ questions  and students had more resources to plan their career  path in the future.
