Thales - a famous Greek philosopher - once being asked: “What is difficult?” said that: “To know one’s self”. Initially, this puzzle seems to be simple but turns out to be an enormous challenge, especially for youngsters who are seeking their ego. That is why LVCF organized a training workshop called "Interpersonal - Understanding yourselves with DISC Model" at Norfolk Hotel on 16/6/2018. Came sharing with the students was Ms Nguyen Thanh Dao - Chief Executive of DAP Training and Consultancy Company.

DISC is a Personality Assessment Tool developed by Dr. William Moulton Marston centering on human’s four behavioral traits: D (Dominance), I (Influence), S (Steadiness), C (Conscientiousness). Human personality is all comprised of DISC, but the dominant characteristic would decide which category one belongs to. Throughout multitudinous intriguing games whose purpose was to test the response tendencies in communication, the scholarship recipients developed deeper understanding about their personalities, thus remedying the shortcomings and fully exploiting their own potentials.

Furthermore, the students were instructed on how to observe and identify others’ personality traits. Having an in-depth knowledge about someone is the key to achieve communication goal both in daily life and at workplace.
